Behavioral Health Technician
This amazing opportunity has a base wage of $17 USD an hour with the potential to earn over $20 USD an hour!Our Psychiatric Technician is crucial to our daily functioning in performing tasks such as positively engaging our clients, supporting our clients with daily treatment programming, and other fulfilling tasks.

Job Duties:
oAssist with intake process with new clients into program.
oCommunicates with staff either verbally or in communication logs, responsible for detail client logs.
oListens to clients concerning all areas of treatment, maintains safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
oCoordinates activities.
oMandatory bed checks conducted as required per department, complete bed-check sheet for shift reporting.
oEnsures client schedule is being followed daily.
oAssisting with interventions with clients.
oFollows objectives of treatment plans.
oMonitor medication line.
oResponsible for conducting searches upon intake, or required searches.
oMonitors treatment for necessary safety and medical needs.
oUpholds Therapeutic Boundaries and Staff Code of Ethics.
oEvaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides input.
oDistributing client snacks as needed.
oTrains new staff on unit, program, and milieu.
oHelps with upkeep of facility.
oOther duties as assigned.
Technical Competencies:
Capable of role modeling to the clients.
Helps to maintain a strong clinical program.
Staff able to work together to effectively meet the needs of the clients.
Maintains positive relationship with clients.
Complete required trainings mandatory trainings hours.
Education,
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Some Mental Health experience but this can be an entry level role.
Experience facilitating groups or activities preferred but not required.
